COLLECTIVE collaborated with film maker Ignacio Minguez on the short film “HONG KONG STEPS”, offering a playful point of view on our latest public space design in Hong Kong at 83 King Lam Street.
This film is part of the Hong Kong Exhibition at the 19th Venice Biennale International Architecture Exhibition. COLLECTIVE was invited as one of the architectural practices in Hong Kong, to share a flim narrative focusing on one aspect of Hong Kong’s built environment- having engaged in the design of various larger scale public spaces in Hong Kong, we decided to have some fun with the 3 dimensional public garden we completed at 83 King Lam Street in Hong Kong.
The film focuses on public architecture, overlapping what our design team imagined we could do on the public steps and what the Hong Kong Public actually did throughout the course of a week.
