Architectural Assistant

(B.Arch Graduates/ Year Out/ RIBA Part 1)

Position Available:

We are seeking two (2) Architectural Assistants to join our studio in Hong Kong.

The candidate shall have proven experience in concept-driven design projects, and also proficient in drawings, virtual & physical modelling and rendering production. You will work closely with our directors and project leaders, in learning, preparing and developing design studies and drawing sets for various project types. The candidate will also attend coordination meetings with clients, consultants, suppliers and contractors as necessary.

Core Activities & Skill Set for the position:

  • Bachelor degree in Architecture

  • Professional proficiency in Rhino 3D Modelling, Vray/Ensuite, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Bonus: Grasshopper, Revit)

  • Strong capability to produce 3D models, visualization rendering and graphic diagrams, skillful in collage making and physical model-making

  • Excellent and positive communication skills

  • Fluent in English, spoken and written; Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) is a plus

  • Eager for hands-on involvement in material experiments

  • Ability to develop design options independently under guidance for internal design reviews and client presentations, have good understanding on putting together research and design narratives
