Sarah Lo
Sarah is the Chief of Business, Legal and Operations at COLLECTIVE. With a diverse career footprint spanning the United States, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Australia, she brings a global perspective to rigorous business and legal matters. In her current role, Sarah oversees all business, legal, and operational functions—including contract negotiation, corporate governance, intellectual property, and data privacy—while partnering with the directorship to analyze business risks and drive strategic decisions.
Sarah is a dual-qualified lawyer who has practiced as a solicitor in both Hong Kong and Western Australia. She holds a Juris Doctor (JD) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University.
Prior to joining COLLECTIVE, Sarah served as an In-House Legal Consultant for Wisers Information Limited, a position that followed a strategic pivot to the legal profession after a robust career in technology and finance. Her professional journey began in the United States, where she worked in software development at Amazon before serving as a software analyst within Goldman Sachs’ Global Derivatives division in New York. Upon relocating to Asia, she transitioned into front-office finance, managing equity derivatives risk for institutional clients at UBS Singapore and Lehman Brothers in Hong Kong. Following four years as a Senior Business Manager at AIA, Sarah formally transitioned into the legal field, uniquely leveraging her deep, firsthand understanding of multinational operations and financial markets in her legal practice.
