CRIS LIU

Architectural Designer

Cris is a native of China. He is a Registered Architect in the United States (New York) and an International Member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). He holds a Master of Architecture degree from Columbia University GSAPP and a Bachelor of Science from Politecnico di Milano. He previously served as a Teaching Assistant at GSAPP and Barnard College and currently mentors recent graduates in Columbia University's
Alumni Mentorship Project.

Before joining COLLECTIVE, Cris worked at OMA Rotterdam, contributing to projects like the British Museum West Range Competition with Rem Koolhaas. Cris has also worked at BIG Copenhagen, co-leading design for major Chinese projects such as the Suzhou Contemporary Art Museum. He has also worked at OMA HK, KPF New York, Fernando Menis Arquitectos in Tenerife and with further experiences in Beijing and Shanghai.
