Carolyn Tam

Architectural Designer

Carolyn obtained her BSc and MArch architecture degree from the UCL, The Bartlett School of Architecture in the UK and at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the US respectively, with a focus on material exploration, fabrication and innovative construction techniques.

Carolyn has taught at MIT, spoken at events organized by Imperial College London, University of Hong Kong, and Seoul National University and acted as final review critic at MIT and HKU.

Prior to joining COLLECTIVE, Carolyn worked at LAAB Architects as a designer and fabricator on projects related to cultural, retail and education sectors. She has worked at P&T Architects and Engineering Limited, where she accumulated project coordination and construction administration experiences.
