COLLECTIVE is an International Architecture Office practicing Architecture, Interiors and Urban Design.
We are a research and idea-driven practice that offer powerful concepts, insist on Clarity, Beauty and Function.
While COLLECTIVE remains dedicated to the realization of Architecture, we also engage in areas beyond the traditional boundaries of the built, operating also a Research Unit and Design Consultancy, researching and practicing in Academia, Scenography, Exhibition Design, Experiential Art, and Cultural Analysis.
The team has previously practiced closely with various international offices including those of Pritzker Prize winning architecture and research studios of Rem Koolhaas/OMA, Herzog & de Meuron ; and also at Massimiliano Fuksas, Frechilla & López-Peláez Arquitectos, SO-IL, MADA spam and at Hong Kong local practices including Aedas and RMJM on Architecture, Urban Design and Interior projects worldwide.
Founded by Betty Ng in 2015, and currently with Directors and Associate Juan Minguez, Katja Lam and Dr. Ying Zhou, COLLECTIVE is a team of architects with an international background from Hong Kong, Europe, China and the United States. Building on convergence and a ‘collective’ of diverse merits, we engage design with our wide spectrum of specificities, challenging the status quo of the architecture discipline.
Our project experiences reach those in the European Union, United Kingdom, Russia, North America, China, South East Asia, Australia, Africa and the Middle East. We are globally oriented and strongly rooted in Asia.
COLLECTIVE currently has offices in Hong Kong and Madrid.
