EXHIBITION DESIGN & SCENOGRAPHY
“Cabinet of Curiosities” is a device that celebrates a collective rite that mixes all medium of design; it investigates the specific need of each exhibit created by a specific discipline of design. Instead of placing them in pristine white cubes or individual pedestal, the works are presented in an imaginary framework of construction – scaffolding; which hosts the various experiments and signifies a continuation of creative works from individuals, thus a “cabinet of curiosities”. The result is a collage of cabinets in diverse size and quality, an imaginary house of experiments.
